Five Hollywood Western Classics Not To Be Missed-Author: Carl DiNello- Hollywood Western Classics have always been favorites of mine. While the western is not as popular today as it once was (although, there has been a bit of renewed interest), any younger film fan who omits the western genre from their area of movie interest will have truly missed out on some great motion pictures. Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard, and Olivia de Havilland helped propel Gone with the Wind to 10 Academy Awards. It has sold more tickets in the United States than any other film in history. In AFI's 2007 list of the top (Read more....)
